Art Deco
ART DECO - Characterized by sharp geometric shapes, especially triangles, shiney material, such as lacquered woods, and “streamlined” design elements, like zigzags, thunderbolts and sunburst patterns.

Named after the Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs held in Paris, France in 1925, Art Deco was a celebration of the human spirit and its innovations with new materials, mechanical progress, and new manufacturing techniques, which, it was envisioned, would make lives easier. Art Deco was categorized by a wonderful use of vibrant colors and geometric shapes which encapsulated the positive aura found during this exstatic time. Kichler faithfully recreates this style with its own collection of Art Deco fixtures, which will add a wonderful touch of elegance in any room.
