Requirements:
Kichler Lighting a leader in interior and exterior decorative lighting, landscape lighting and ceiling fans.  Kichler products are available through authorized independent lighting showrooms, electrical distributors, procurement companies, irrigation distributors and select e-retailers.
 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Primary responsibilities: managing & administering the entire “employee & employment experience” process including: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee feedback surveys, job descriptions, benchmarking comp & benefits, internal equity reviews, compliance audit & staffing metrics. This position support a union & non-union workforces in 5 US locations & will assist with 3 China based locations.

This is a hands on positions and you must be pro-active & resourceful.

  • HR projects & initiatives such as-Succession & Contingency Planning, Employee Development & Assessments & Training.
  • Benefits administration-renewals, FSA, 125 & HSA plans, COBRA.
  • Respond to employee and labor relations issues including internal investigations & grievances including EEO1 reporting.
  • Coordinate employee meetings & activities.
  • Back up for Safety & Leave Administrator & Mailroom Operations.

     
Specific work experience and job requirements for this position:
  • Experience working in a union warehouse/distribution environment is strongly preferred.
  • Must have 7+ years of Recruiting experience, preferably with HR Generalist experience & knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations related to staffing.
  • Ability to build relationships with employees and managers which instills trust and confidence.
  • Must be resourceful, confident in your abilities, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, changing environment, work well under pressure, multi-task and managing a variety of duties.
  • Must have strong written & verbal communications skills, exercise sound judgment, ability to analyze issues, be a problem solver, strong listening skills and be responsive.
  • Comfortable training a wide variety of employees on HR related topics.
  • Travel 10-20% domestically
