Kichler Lighting a leader in interior and exterior decorative lighting, landscape
lighting and ceiling fans. Kichler products are available through authorized independent
lighting showrooms, electrical distributors, procurement companies, irrigation distributors and
select e-retailers.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Establish and execute on an annual basis, sales plans to grow market share with
existing national accounts and a plan to capture new account business.
Qualify and follow up on all sales leads.
Identify and develop contacts and relationships at the hospitality, resort, retail and
institutional end user communities.
Responsible for new account development and managing of these accounts within the distribution
sales channel
Provide product information, support and assistance to customers where necessary.
Generate sales opportunities through direct solicitation efforts and working through others
(electrical wholesale and national account lighting distributors) and presentations of company
capabilities and specific product offerings and specifications
Qualify and follow up on all sales leads.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business or equivalent
5 plus years of senior level experience in Sales or Sales Management
5-8 years direct sales experience
Particular strengths in leading project teams, identifying key profitability drivers, forging
consensus and linking business strategy with business plans.
Broad functional experience in areas of channel development and market research.
Must have strong interpersonal skills, a solid record of accomplishments and good judgment:
demonstrate a positive can-do attitude.
Strong verbalization and communication skills.
