Clean, Contemporary Styles at Center of New Kichler Lamp Collections

CLEVELAND—Jan. 14, 2010—Characterized by fresh and clean designs, Kichler adds four new contemporary lamp families to its growing line. From twin-pull desk lamps to sleek torchieres, each new style lends a simple yet sophisticated appeal to a variety of settings.

The new collections include:

• Palla™ – Coordinating with Kichler’s popular Palla decorative fixtures, a new Palla table lamp and torchiere define contemporary with sleek, smooth lines and subtle circular accents. Both feature a ribbed center column and Polished Nickel finish. The two-light table lamp features a white hard-back shade and a curved arm with attractive circular accents extending from each side of its powerful center column. The regal torchiere features a White-Etched glass shade and stands tall at 72-inches high.

• Stella™ – This soft contemporary family welcomes a sleek desk lamp with an elongated, oval-shaped, etched-glass shade and a slender arm and base. In addition, a matching table lamp features a cylindrical illuminated base and a white shade. The Chrome lamps compliment three existing Palla chandeliers, as well as a wall sconce and a mini pendant.

• Robson – This striking lamp collection with an updated yet classic feel features a twin-pull desk lamp with a rocker switch, a table lamp, a floor lamp and a torchere. All are offered in the new Midnight Chrome or the popular Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish, and feature hard-back linen shades and heavy circular bases.
  

• Cantilever – Living up to the meaning of its name, this contemporary lamp collection displays a one-of-a-kind composition. A table and floor lamp incorporate a thin, sweeping arm, which projects from the lamps’ sleek bodices, and holds a white linen shade. The long arm can be adjusted to train the light in a direction that best meets homeowner needs. Both are offered in a Brushed nickel finish.
