Handcrafted, Made-In-the-USA Lamps at Center of Newest Kichler Lamps Release

CLEVELAND - July 9, 2009 - From pleated ceramic bases to hand-painted square shades, the latest Kichler lamps offer the unique style and distinction of fine art. Proudly offering five original American-made and hand-painted lamps, each piece brings an artisan’s touch and warm glow to a variety of settings.

Vivido! Collection
Urban contemporary style gets an artisan’s touch with the new Vivido! collection. Each lamp is carefully hand painted, assuring a unique, one-of-a-kind statement. Handcrafted in the United States, the collection features a variety of styles to match an array of decorating schemes.

• Curve – The Curve table lamp features a wooden square base that curves inward on each side and features geometric shapes hand-painted in variegated copper leaf. It is accented by a rectangular-shaped, antique-silver hard-back shade with gold lining.

• Breeze – Featuring the same wooden base and shape of its sister Curve lamp,this Zen-inspired table lamp makes an original statement with two different floral designs hand-painted in silver leaf on each side of the bodice. An antique-silver hard-back shade with gold lining completes the look.

• Pleat – The perfect accent to any room, this distinctive table lamp features a pleated, ceramic hand finished base with bronze highlights and a dark-espresso oval hard back shade.

• Jazz – Featuring a hand-painted hard-back shade with black, brown, deep red and unexpected teal hues, this table lamp’s black crackle ceramic base starts thin and widens at the bottom in a dramatic trumpet-style shape.

• Rings – This striking table lamp offers a curvaceous bronze ceramic base that cascades from top to bottom for a fluid, soft-contemporary feel. Its sleek and narrow bronze oval hard-back shade is hand-painted with a subtle ring pattern.

In addition to the Vivido! collection, Kichler introduces several other lamp designs that offer fresh and diverse style options, including:

• Color Cascade ^™ – This collection features a hand-painted porcelain table lamp with urn handles. Incorporating refreshing shades of blue, green, mauve cranberry, and soft yellow, the lamp's base contrasts beautifully against its hard-back shade. A coordinating floor lamp with blue and green hues completes the collection.

• Blue Cascade – Also featuring a hand-painted porcelain base, this transitional table pairs shades of blue in a soft, wispy design and a glossy finish. A crisp white hard-back shade adds a defining touch.

• Pressick II ^™ – Joining Kichler’s popular and sophisticated Pressick lamp collection, the latest additions feature an uncomplicated design, a sleek Brushed Nickel finish and a white hard-back shade. The newest pieces include a twin-pull table lamp, torchiere with white etched glass, and a tray floor lamp with a beveled glass tray.

• Trista n ^™ – This transitional lamp collection incorporates a Polished Nickel finish with hard-back white drum shades. The collection includes two coordinating table lamps and a floor lamp, each resting on a square-shaped base.

• Andre ^™ – With an urban inspiration, a matching Polished Nickel table and floor lamp feature a natural linen oversized shade in perfect complement to the circular accents built into the lamps’ base and bodice. Each lamp offers a built-in dimmer switch for adjustable light output.
