Casual, Timeless Designs and Soft, Neutral Hues Define Latest Kichler Art Glass Creations

CLEVELAND—July 9, 2009—Art glass turns casual as Kichler adds 10 new urban-inspired art glass fixtures to its popular collections. The new, relaxed fixtures feature warm, neutral hues and soft, timeless designs that complement both traditional and contemporary décor. Subtle design accents add a welcoming, visual dynamic to two new collections and expand the appeal of an existing, popular Kichler Art Glass family.

• Prairie Ridge – This craftsman-style collection blends creamy, neutral-colored cut stone with sun-washed apricot cut stone. Each fixture exudes a linear-inspired composition thanks to clean, architectural lines that define each piece of glass and stone. An Old Bronze® finish adds contrast to the family’s mini pendant, inverted pendant, semi-flush ceiling mount and rectangular, box-shaped wall sconce.

• Mosaico™ – Mosaic tiles are enjoying a resurgence in today’s homes, and the new Mosaico collection is a perfect complement to this returning trend. Warm cocoa and neutral, cream-colored art glass are arranged in a woven-basket design, and an Olde Bronze finish adds to the family’s appeal. Stand-out fixtures include a mini pendant with a striking piece of curved metal that delicately intersects the fixture’s stem.

• Tacoma™ – Kichler adds an inverted pendant and a semi-flush ceiling mount to this popular, transitional collection. Inverted triangle-shaped shades combine creamy sliced stone with ribbed amber and root beer-colored art glass. The fixtures’ stems feature contrasting straight and wavy lines and an Olde Bronze finish for added interest. A table lamp, three-light island light, mini pendant and wall sconce also are available to complement.
