Kichler Lamps and Accessories Reveals Striking New Pieces
Former Westwood Line is Now Kichler Lamps and Accessories

CLEVELAND—Aug. 13, 2007—In conjunction with a new product introduction, Kichler Lighting announces a name change for its portable lamps and accessories division. Formerly known as Westwood Collections, the new Kichler Lamps and Accessories division will continue to deliver stylish high-quality, high-design lighting pieces, which have built a reputation while enhancing the Kichler brand.

As part of the latest Kichler Lamps and Accessories introduction, several new families set the scene, including a mix of trendy designs and classic mainstays coupled with unique materials and fresh color schemes.

Highlights of the release include:

Flirty Elegance

Eloquence: Incorporating fashion’s love for lace, this collection features a netted texture with hand-painted lace detail application on porcelain bases, and shades with lace overlay, in both monochromatic white-on-white and white-on-cream looks. The collection also includes a black satin porcelain base with a black lace overlay on an ivory soft shade, and an ivory satin porcelain base with matching lace overlay on the soft shade. The rectangular shades are emphasized with cut corner detail.

Butterfly Table Lamp: The popularity of one of nature’s prettiest creatures continues in this sophisticated application, featuring vibrant hand-painted butterflies that gracefully fly about the gold, porcelain base. It includes a black soft shade with gold lining.

Meet the Girls: In the world of fashion, embellishments are big. Kichler takes this fashion-forward trend to the next level in home décor with new additions to its successful Meet the Girls™ collection , a whimsical assortment of accent lamps, which use jewelry pendants and other decorative elements on their shades. From flirty and fun to urban and sophisticated, this group finds new friends in Sarah Too, Anna, Greta, Nicki and new Fairy table lamps, Lissa and Kasey:

Urban Chic

Urbana™: This look stands apart from the rest with its rich, espresso finish and burnished copper accents, appealing to the current trend in metallics. The oversized wood and metal group features exaggerated copper curves in geometric designs and includes a funky human silhouette table lamp. An aged copper hard back shade includes a hint of metallic thread throughout. Candlesticks and a decorative box coordinate.

Concentrix™: Striking silver rings add dramatic accents to this contemporary wood and metal collection featuring a dark espresso finish, which also includes an oversized beveled mirror and pedestal bowl.

Unexpected Organic

Lite-n-Airy Group: Perfect for a beach home or a child’s room, this casual resin group features a painted wood texture in mango, honeydew, rhubarb, Bahama blue and coconut. Each is completed with an off-white linen hard back shade and an over-sized finial.

Figurine Accent Lamps: In accord with today’s patriotism, an eagle and stag figurine each serve as the base for a pair of resin desk or accent lamps with an aged bronze finish that incorporates bronze metal particles to resemble the look of natural metal. The stag features a soft tawny brown faux leather shade, while the eagle features a cocoa with black slub hard shade.

Organic Branch Lamps: An accent, table and floor lamp feature a hand-painted canyon taupe finish applied to intertwining branches that grow from the base to the finial for a relaxed, lodge look. An ivory wave hard back shade provides a clean look.

Conifer: This three-piece collection features hand-painted pine cones on porcelain bases, with pine cone finials to complete the look. The floor lamp features a wood base. A coordinating beveled mirror also features hand-painted wood, with an iron and pine cone trim.

Woven Wire Collection: Blackened wire weaves around an off-black base with gold highlights, for a natural style. Candlesticks and a decorative bowl coordinate with the accent, buffet, table and floor lamp.
