DALLAS—July 16, 2008—Sustainable materials, inspired finishes and eye-catching designs are at the center of the newest collections from Kichler® Lamps & Accessories. The trend-inspired additions range from traditional to contemporary, with many collections designed to mix and match.

“Not only do our latest collections incorporate sought-after materials and trendy finishes, they also offer great variety with the ability to pair complementing products from different collections,” said Jan Shaffer, Kichler Lamps & Accessories director. “We recognize consumers still want to bring a cohesive look to their homes, but they want variety too. The new families offer the best of both worlds.”

Green Inspirations

Bamboo – Responding to the continued demand for green products, Kichler Lamps & Accessories introduces two new table lamps featuring one of nature’s most sought–after sustainable materials - bamboo. A table and accent lamp feature an all-natural bamboo base and a grass-cloth, hard-back shade for a multi-faceted style.

Mesmerizing Metallics

Nature’s Glow™ – Meeting the current popularity of metallics, this transitional collection features metallic silver, gold and copper hues. The family’s table lamp features a hand painted porcelain gold and copper base and a metallic silver hard-back shade. A set of two beveled square mirrors finished in antique metallic silver, and a trio of decorative porcelain vases in varying sizes and finishes, are available to complement.

A fine addition to this family is a 30” table lamp featuring a copper-inspired henna hard-back shade and a hand-painted porcelain base incorporating dragonflies on blocks of brown and gold. Representing the arrival of good news, joy and peace, dragonflies continue to gain in popularity in both fashion and home décor.

The Woodlands™ – This casual look fuses dynamic decorating materials, including metallics, wood, reverse-painted accents and hand-painted porcelain, to create an impression bridging nature with high style. A matching floor lamp, table lamp and beveled mirror all feature an inspired leaf print accented by dark wood.

An additional porcelain table lamp features a soft hand-painted tree against a green and oatmeal base backdrop and a linen hard-back shade.

Geometric – These heavily hammered iron additions present an architecturally striking design to shape the personality of any room. The bases of the five lamps in this family feature unique geometric designs with silver and Burnished Bronze finishes. A metallic, marbleized champagne spun-fiber shade completes the look.

Tristan™ – A mix of modern with traditional transforms these lamps into a chic study in contrast. A polished nickel table and floor lamp feature stacked oval ball bases, while an urn table lamp incorporates a simple, clean design. Each lamp includes a white hard-back shade.

Playful Prints, Striking Designs

Grey Goose – A casual addition, this whimsical silhouetted table lamp features a sitting grey graphite goose. Taking on an oval shape, the deep grey color and contrasting lamp shade give this lamp great appeal.

Swirl™ – Designed with a swirling base, the accent, buffet and table lamps in this collection feature a resin, microfiber shade with a fruitwood finish and dark brown accents.

American Paisley™ – A returning favorite in the world of fashion, paisley enters home décor with this new collection of lamps and accessories infusing Persian paisley design with subtle earth tones. An elongated 40” console lamp features calming wood nestled inside reverse-painted glass with a playful paisley print and a light nutmeg square hard-back shade. A table lamp, floor lamp and a set of four coordinating square hand-painted mirrors complete the collection.

Bold Hues

Patina – The aged look of patina is back in beautiful array. These urn-based table lamps feature antique designs and simple ivory soft-back shades.

Indigo – This upscale, traditional hand-painted porcelain table lamp features a stunning indigo-finished body with golden filigree accents, a gold base and a soft gold shade.
