Kichler New Decorative
Kichler Introduces More Than 300 Decorative Fixtures in Largest Catalog to Date
New Families Offer Dramatic Designs, Contemporary Influences and Modern Appeal

CLEVELAND—Feb. 6, 2008—As part of a new, nearly 700-page color catalog, Kichler unveils more than 300 new decorative fixtures for every area of the home. From a new line of Adjustable Rail Lights to innovative collections with fresh finishes and intricate casting techniques, the latest additions appeal to a variety of tastes.

“The foundation of our new collection is built on the quality and innovation Kichler is known for, but we’ve also added some great, new elements, including updated colors and finishes, new textures and more ways to customize,” said Tom Patterson, Kichler product manager. “Plus, we’re introducing groupings for every home and every space, from versatile rail lights to grande, two-tier chandeliers.”

Some of the stand-out additions include:

Adjustable Rail Lights
Though rail lighting has grown in popularity, installation of the fixtures has been difficult and design and style have been basically ignored. Now, Kichler offers an innovative style-conscious solution with its new collection of Adjustable Rail Lights. Each Rail Light easily mounts into existing wall or ceiling outlet boxes. Kichler understands that homeowners’ lighting needs are different, so they built rail lights that allow each of the three-lights in the fixture to swivel independently. This allows homeowners to train each light in the direction that best meets their needs. Available in six styles, these new additions are ideal for hallways, baths and settings that demand attention.

Dramatic Designs
  • Sebastian™ -- An intricate, lost-wax casting technique is behind this family’s detailed iron scrollwork, which pairs perfectly with the hand-stenciled filigree ornamentation included on each glass shade.  Incorporating Antique-Etched glass and a Colton Bronze™ finish, each chandelier includes an illuminated bowl at its base. Among the stand-out pieces is an elongated, 60”, two-tier chandelier perfect for grande foyers and rooms with tall ceilings. A decorative chain and matching Light Accents™ also are available.
  • Chesley™ -- The elaborate Kichler Chesley™ collection includes a two-tone Berkshire Bronze™ finish, antique gold and silver highlights and hand-sewn, embroidered floral shades. The family maintains an airy appeal with graceful curves and matching glass accents. Featured pieces include a grande, two-tier chandelier and a five-light chandelier with an illuminated center glass globe.
  • Kendale™ -- This dramatic new collection incorporates hand-tooled Crème Caramel glass shades, accented by dark amber-tinted crimping along the edges. A new Wispy Brulee finish creates the illusion of texture and reveals a deep golden orange hue that yields dark shadows among shimmering Antique Silver highlights. The dramatic shades are complemented by intricate scrollwork and a detailed center column.

Contemporary Cool
  • Daphne™ -- Responding to the trend in textured pieces for the home, this family was inspired by wind-blown sand dunes and incorporates rippled, White Etched glass. Each piece of glass is cradled in a cast holder and suspended by cable-inspired arms in a Brushed Nickel finish.
  • Lucia™ – This contemporary collection features glass encased glass – clear outside glass coupled with Satin Etched inside glass. Double bowed arms are adjoined by twin suspension rods in a Brushed Nickel finish.  Featured fixtures include a wall sconce with a bowed canopy and an armless sconce.
  • Reyna™ -- A contemporary take on the popular ring fixture, this family features halogen, cone-shaped glass pods suspended by thin cable. With a simple, clean appeal, this comprehensive group, which includes fixtures for the bath, incorporates Satin Etched inside glass and clear outside glass. The family is finished in Brushed Nickel.

Modern Appeal
  • Sombra™ – Combining a modern appeal with an arts and crafts influence, this new collection features cylindrical, Light Umber Linen glass accented by two concentric rings. The glass sits atop a bell-shaped carrier and is finished in Olde Bronze. Featured pieces include an inverted pendant, a mini pendant and a selection of fixtures for the bath.

Stand-Alone Bath
  • Cumulo™ – An Etched Opal glass is constructed in a tufted pillow shape and is offset with a stepped back plate in this new family. A sconce and two, three and four-light bath fixtures are offered, as is a matching mirror.
  • Soft Oval™ – As oval chandeliers grow in popularity, that shape enters the bath in a new family with an oval bulb and back plate. The clean, oval design carries throughout the collection, which features a two-tiered wall sconce and a matching oval mirror.
